from the archives: always gonna be like that

my sketches are often in weird colours. finished stuff is toned down into the neutrals. this was from a few years ago when I went through a phase of using fuck-off bright colours for linework (click on it for full view - it looks muddy in the preview, but it's actually magenta. it's so not done justice in the preview). I actually like it, like a lot. I'm gonna do more of that. this is really simple but it's up there in 'favourite thing's I've ever done' territory tbh.

I'm obsessed with this fairytale. I wanted to show that sometimes (most times) the problem is not the world, the problem is you. The big bad wolf is a monster you create, and you wonder why you can't shake him? Pull up your red hoodie and walk the fuck on.
